answerThe length of treatment time is fairly short, even when providing therapy to all ten toes. Usually the laser treatment takes 20 – 30 minutes, depending on how many toes need the procedure and the severity of your condition. The more extensive the therapy, the longer it will take. In most cases, the laser works right away. The fungus is destroyed and your nail tissue is able to grow in healthy. There is no recovery period for the treatment, either—it’s considered a walk-in, walk-out appointment. As soon as the procedure is finished, you’re able to put your footwear back on and return to your activities.

Although the individual appointment is relatively short, you may still need multiple treatments to restore the toes, particularly if you had a severe infection or were re-infected after the therapy. If you’re curious about the procedure, or how it can help your own toes, contact Country Foot Care to make an appointment.  We can be reached by phone at either of our offices or you can request an appointment online by clicking the MAKE AN APPOINTMENT button at the top of this page.
