Christina Nawabi, D.P.M.
Dr. Christina Nawabi was born and raised on Long Island. She received an academic scholarship for her undergraduate studies at SUNY Stony Brook, where she graduated with a double major in Art History and French Literature. She attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she received an academic scholarship.
Dr. Nawabi completed her 3-year surgical residency at DVA Northport and Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. During her residency, Dr. Nawabi received extensive training in wound care, diabetic limb salvage, biomechanics, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle and trauma of the lower extremity.
Dr. Nawabi is an avid soccer fan and grew up playing soccer on Long Island, with her father as her coach. During her free time, Dr. Nawabi enjoys spending time with her husband and her family, visiting museums and traveling.
