Dr. Brook delivers his keynote address to the attendees of the Health & Financial Fitness Expo

On Friday, June 5, Dr. Brook and members of the Country Foot Care staff took part in the Health & Financial Fitness Expo at the North Shore Towers located on the border of Nassau County and Queens. Presented by Schnepps Communications, publisher of the Queens Courier and numerous other publications, the event offered North Shore Tower residents the opportunity to learn about various valuable products and services available.

The Country Foot Care exhibit table had a steady stream of traffic as the attendees (and some of our fellow exhibitors) viewed our products on display while learning about the many excellent boutique podiatric services we offer. As the attendees were primarily 55 years and older, there was a great deal of interest in our medical shoe store offerings, our diabetic foot care expertise and our various foot care products.

The speaking portion of the event was keynoted by Dr. Brook, who gave an informative talk on proper foot care for seniors. Among the topics covered were diabetic foot care, fungal toenail treatment, diabetic foot care for seniors as well as overall foot health. The well-received address resulted in a second surge of traffic to the Country Foot Care table after all speakers concluded for the day.

“This was our first time participating in the Health & Financial Fitness Expo and we were gratified by the response from the attendees,” said Dr. Brook. “We look forward to returning to the North Shore Towers in the future to reconnect with the new friends we have made as well as getting to know more North Shore Tower residents.”
