LaserThe PinPointe laser treatment answerprocedure that we use at Country Foot Care uses an intense beam of light to heat up and destroy the infected tissues of fungal nails. This beam is highly focused and uses a specific wavelength that passes easily through your nails and targets the fungi cells below without damaging the healthy cells around them. The intense light heats up the pathogens until they disintegrate, leaving your toe tissues intact and able to regrow new nails.

This whole process is largely painless and has no known side-effects, making it a safe alternative for fungal nail treatments. There isn’t a “recovery period,” either, so you can return to your activities immediately after finishing the procedure. You’ll still need to have your nails inspected and your shoes disinfected to prevent reinfection, though. If you have any questions about the procedure, or you’d like an appointment to treat your infected nails, contact Country Foot Care at our offices and a member of our staff will be happy to help you.  Appointments can also be requested online by clicking the MAKE AN APPOINTMENT button at the top of this page.
